This is such an easy going wine it almost does itself a disservice since there’s nothing really exceptional about it. Ample red cherry fruit and that’s it. However, the fruit is quite pure and there’s enough there to make this work with a range of meals. No reason to hold. Drink now.

At Bar Bodega, Little Italy. Good enough, although rather unremarkable.

First things first : This is from VALENCIA DOP NOT Murcia ... Second : it is a 100% Tempranillo CRIANZA. Thant means : if you don’t like Tempranillo uou@will not appreciate this wine.... Third : Has To be decanted or leave open for a bit to open up. This wine is a solid promise of great things to come from the region. Médium body. Silky, spicy, bitter cherry dry goodness that ask for a cigar in every zip... WELL DONE VALENCIA !! Honest and well made as it gets. For this price, you get an UNBELIEVABLE value if you happen to don’t see it please stick to mixing wine with soda.

Solid tempranillo if not as complex as some. If you like the mildness of tempranillos you'll like this

It's ok. I'm going to drink it because I bought it, but even my husband says it taste like watered down wine.

Edit: half a bottle later and it has grown on me. It's easy to drink and the flavors really begin to develop. Not bad at all for a $10 bottle of wine.

Ruby in color. Spice (immediately thought of Tabasco sauce!), leather, clove, simmered tomato on the nose. Not what I’m used to so far. Tabasco again on the tongue, ripe red fruit as well once it opens up. Oak qualities are overpowering. Would pair nicely with some steak tacos topped with a tomato heavy salsa.
