Tamarack Cellars
Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc
This was opened a few days back the 2013 Tamarack Cellars Wahluke Slope Cabernet Franc from Walla Walla, Washington.
On the nose is black cherry, blackberry, red plum, green bell pepper, herbaceous and wet gravel.
On the palate is raspberries, strawberry, red plum, black currant, green bell pepper, milk chocolate, fall leaves and crushed gravel.
This wine is medium to full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + firm grippy tannins that gives you a long red fruit crushed gravel finish. This weekend try and do something special with a friend or loved one. Enjoy some wine and some good food and stay healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruits, herbs and spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry and black cherry with leafy herbs, oak and black pepper. Fine fresh tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and herb spice.

May 29th, 2016What a wonderful Sunday and I have opened theb 2009 Tamarack Cellars Cabernet Franc. At first opening I am getting a herbaceous note, savory red & black fruit like strawberry compote, black raspberry and crushed gravel. On the palate am enjoying black cherry flavors with plum and raspberry notes. There is a medium + acidity, medium polished tannin and a clean long finish. A truly enjoyable cab franc.

Oct 11th, 2015Really tasty and satisfying as a big red, but it was curiously hard to pin down as cab franc. Tasted like there's some petit verdot in there. Still, it was delicious.
