Light and focused. Pretty lemon fruit with sweet edges and bright acidity with a pinch of salinity. Very good

A great vintage for comtes kind of flies under the radar . 2004 is a great Chardonnay vintage for Champagne . Golden delicious apples , brioche , liquid minerals . Lovely depth and balance on the palate with some secondary nuances starting to develop. A gorgeous comtes to drink over the next decade or two.

Taken to our friend’s place on the Big Island for a great dinner. This was young, bright and tight with ample acidity. Still a baby.

Xmas Champagne/Sparkling tasting.

I kept coming back to this wine. Usually stands out in a lineup like this because it's a BDB, but tonight it fits right in and is drinking beautifully. The best Comtes I've had to date, I need to find some of these with more age.

Brioche, sweet hazelnut and meringue. A joy to drink !
