Typically focused as one would expect from a top Japanese whisky, and with a touch of sweetness that is more Bourbon like. The 17 year Hibiki is inviting and complex, with numerous elements revealed through the long finish.

Toffee, toast almond, mocha, hint of orange peel on the nose. Very oily mouthfeel, quite bitter, preserved fruit, herb and sweet toasted almond on the palate. Long and soothing finish.

So easy to sip, live how Japanese whiskey remind my amateur spirits palate of a cross between Single Malt Scotch and a fine Bourbon from Kentucky.

Golden Amber with pronounced legs. On the nose, malt, ale, dried apricots, and floral notes. Rich, creamy mouth coating body with additional back palate aromas of cigar box, toasted oak, caramel, hints of peat, and even whoppers, minus the chocolate of course. Long finish. An exceptional blend!
