Smooth taste. Hints of green tea and flowers. Really great on the rocks. Impressed with my first Japanese whisky that I can recall. — 2 months ago
Just sending a shout out to my wine folks to stay strong in these testing times. I’m on the whisky sours...
2 measures whisky (Woodfords is great for this, but Yamazaki is what I had in)
1 measure lime juice
1/2 measure sugar syrup (or more to taste)
1/4 measure Nardini Acqua Di Cedro
Shake with plenty ice until you can’t feel your hands. Serve over big ice cubes.
Good luck out there ❤️

Suntory's Blend of Japanese, Canadian, American, Irish and Scotch whiskies. Not going to be sold outside Japan, supposedly, due to complicated tariffs/duties. A little peaty and smoky, but just singular and really interesting. So many layers and it keeps changing in the glass. Really fun. Not as sweet as some Japanese whiskies I've had but not overly smokey or peaty either. I really like this. — a year ago
A local grape varierty in japan. A mix of merlot and another one. Quite fruity and not bad — a year ago
