Fresh aromatic nose. Palate is juicy with savoury cherry flavours and low tannins. Whole bunch fermentation. I could sell a lot of this at lunch if I owned a Bistro! Very easy to drink. From Tenerife (Canary Islands) and made from the Listan Negro grape.

Fresh raspberries showered with white pepper. Super mineral and salted, with a gripping finish. Worth giving this time to fully open, but refreshing and crushable opening none the less.

Funky bass slapping earthy nose like Brett invaded this wine. Doesn’t necessarily translate onto the palate. Medium body with acidty to match. Reminiscent of value oriented red burgundy, not from Cru. Would be interested to see how this ages.

Very berry. Similar to Grenache with a spicy finish...fresh jalapeño but not off-putting. Volcanic soils, mostly concrete aging, great minerality.

May 17th, 2017Dry Cherry extract, pepper and ginger. Pepper also apparent on the palate which is not always the case. Zero oak influence. Made to be drunk in its young and refreshing state. Good to find an Aussie importer bringing in wines from the Canary Islands.

Quite a nice listan negro dominated blend from the Canary Islands. Great restrained fruit, excellent peppery earthy note, not overwhelming at all but complete. Good pairing with a variety of food at shukette.
