Stags leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Velvety stags leap tannin. If anything, maybe a bit heavy handed with the oak but overall a really elegant cab. Lifted cherry, berry jam and vanilla. Rich but balanced not hot heavy or over extracted. Not cheap but good value.

I don't drink much California Cab, but if there were more like this, I would. Big, structured and long. Not greasy or overblown.

Dark, tasty, still has time

Not overly done or extracted, well balanced. BlackBerry, bakers chocolate, and leather. A good value at $32.

I'm drinking this from a strange glass, but I get baker's cocoa, blackberry, leather. Pleasant amount of tannins. Delightful with brisket.

Nice full body, notes of muted cherry, sweet tobacco, and dark chocolate. Very dry.

This is a 2012 drinks well now very dark juicy dry opens up nicely
