Deep ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of blackberry jam, blueberry jam, black cherry, pomegranate, earth, anise, clove; dry, medium plus acid, ripe medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; very ripe but with structure to balance somewhat

Deep ruby. Perfumed nose. Rose pedals and lavender. Lingering rose on the tastebuds. Tannins gave structure. Candied strawberry with dark chocolate.

A truly varietal #cabernertsauvignon from #California #alexandervalley even though the vineyard borders on #russianrivervalley and #chalkhill Has a little bit of #petitverdot all’s I knows is this is about as close as California gets to a #claretstyle

One of our favorite Cabs. Luckily we found a sale at halfwit wine where it was only $11 per half bottle.

Bold red with fruit notes. Opens well. Full body. Nice with food and alone.

This seems to be a very typical northern Cabernet Sauvignon. It is a really dark wine with deep dark fruit punctuated with a slight vegetal tinge that I have come to expect from Alexander Valley. This is a really really good example of cooler climate Cabernet Sauvignon. I am a fan.

Tons of black fruit on the nose. Hint of bell pepper. Drinking well for a youthful Sonoma Cab.

My theory about Sonoma cabs still holds - wait 10 years before opening. Nice effort

Look excellent very dark burgundy, nose vegetable green bell pepper, flavors blackberry,cassis,oak, peppers excellent balance, pair w/prime rib
