This stood up very nicely after an immaculate 1er White burgundy. Bigger in style with plenty of cashew and pure fruit.

Definitely a butter and oak style, but this is mountain fruit, which adds a depth of character and body that sets this apart. Long, toasty finish that penetrates, providing the right backdrop to the tropical fruit.

Superb aromatics. Pronounced lemon meringue, almond, buttered toast, and cannabis (might be my neighbors), along with a tropical fruit salad nuance. Intense and palate coating in the mouth. Almost syrup, but not quite. Lengthy finish with plenty of structure should allow this to age for another few years. This is serious Cali Chardonnay.

14.8% Alc.
Holding up beautifully at age 5 (the color is like if it was made yesterday!) and in no immediate danger of falling off the cliff.
Not really my preferred style of Chard but I can see it having fans in the "big and bold" camp.

Massive and impressive in many ways, but after a glass, you're looking elsewhere. Broad-shouldered and deep, with toasty oak and interesting minerality and lovely, tropical fruit additions, it finishes plump as the alcohol is too high and its Elevage too lofty. Serious stuff, though, and fans of the style will love it.

Oaky and very fruity, powerful Chardonnay expression, very pure and mineral laced, long finish.
