This was not part of the Peter Stolpman tasting yesterday but Olivia Jupillat @princetoncorkscrew is wise like an owl. She recommend I get a bottle of this Stolpman "Para Maria", super fun wine with acid and fruit dancing all over my tongue. 15% carbonic. @peter_stolpman #Syrah #CentralCoastWine

Exceptional young Syrah coming from the crew at Stolpman. Impressive despite the young age and the first year of production. Dark, chewy and dense in structure yet very approachable. Drink now for a wonderful bottle coming from the Santa Barbara County.

Opaque dark ruby in the glass, tight acidic nose, blue fruit, rocks, good fruit, great balance. Super yummy. Punches way above its price point.

On the nose it was very deep with licorice and hints of tobacco. In the mouth, all the deep fruits came out to play! Cassis and plum with a bright blackberry tart in the back. Nice finish as well. A fun Syrah blend.
