My favorite Chenin to date. Funky, astringent(in a good way), honey, beeswax, orchard fruit, petrol, minerals, well integrated acidity.
Such a fun wine to have with spicy food. I've ordered 3 more😅

Such an interesting wine. So unexpected terroir mineral balance with pineapple pear fruit. Top notch! Tasted great with Santa Barbara uni, ikura, Toro and negi-hamachi!

Stupid good. So expressive and easy for me to love as Chenin is probably my favorite single varietal grape in the still form. Viscous passion fruit, ripe apricot, lemon meringue, and plenty of spice.

A glimmer of hope for well priced natural wine from California. Combe Chenin is deep with personality. Ripe with plenty of residual acid, there is spiced pineapple, quince, basil, and earthy mushrooms. Terrific and underpriced ($20) and will probably retail for $31 next year.
