Blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot, 10% Malbec & 6% Petit Verdot, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe red berry fruits, spice and earthy notes. On the palate flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cacao with toasty oak, well balanced. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, sweet spice and earthy toasty oak character.

Aug 7th, 2022Deep inky purple with traces of little blue highlights. A big fat nose of coffee beans, Kools, and dark chocolate. The red and blue fruits take over, along with faded violets. This is another one of these Napa blends and all the requisite Napa blend shenanigans come with it. As young as it is, this is probably right around peak drinking time. Very, very clean and fruit driven, there’s not a speck of dirt or funk anywhere near this thing. Which is fine, this aims for smooth and polished and achieves that. Medium body, medium acidity, medium pleasure. A well integrated and balanced pour for sure. More cherries than you can shake a stick at, cloves, and lavender on the palate. A nice, pleasant wine. Nothing more nothing less.

Had never heard of the producer, which isn’t totally surprising as they produce in super low quantities. Tremendous balance and depth of flavor. Red currants, dusty leather, and dark chocolate. Will be keeping a look out for more from this producer.

Wonderful blend that opened up beautifully.
