1985 vintage.

Throw this in with any classified Bordeaux from a similar and supposedly age-worthy tannic vintage (1986?) and I think you'll have some humble guesses.

Ahhhh...the beauty of aged sub 14% Napa Valley Cabs.
Throw this in with '84 Bdx's and it would be unfair. Throw it in with '86 Medoc's and you'll get a (nice) surprise.

Wow- one of those #napavalley wines from the 1980's that shows the affability of the wines from that era!

After opening up it reveals a nice femininity for a cab. Definitely Stags Leap fruit. Tannins hit at the end

13.9%. Very enjoyable for a sub $30 wine. I'm losing interest in high ABV California wines lately...

High QPR. Mid-Weight Cabernet that pairs very well with a grilled Porterhouse. Long finish and supple tannins... Food friendly and a 2012 gem. Well done especially for sub $30. Recommended.
