This robust Sangiovese is a nearly-perfect food wine. It’s big and fruity, smooth bodied and easy drinking. Predominant flavors are bright cherries and pepper. We enjoyed it with hand-cut pappardelle with Calabrian chile-tomato sauce & kale.

Another wonderfully versatile food wine from Mr. Do Blasi, this Sangiovese is medium bodied, loads with bright blueberry and Bing cherry fruit, and perfectly balanced. It stood up to a smorgasbord of diverse leftovers: Dijon crusted salmon, spicy balsamic skirt steak, roasted vegetables, herbed Israeli couscous -- all without a single jarring taste note! 😺

This is a big, rich, lush Chianti, very full bodied but still quite versatile with foods. A decent Chianti must be a sort of Swiss Army Knife of wines, standing up to a wide variety of food pairings, and this one does not disappoint. It has cherry and chocolate flavors that are almost Bordeaux-like, and thick tannic structure. we enjoyed it with teriyaki salmon and asparagus over rice - Bellissimo!

Nice okey sent with a classic Chianti finish. Just like I’m back in Tuscany again.

Fine. Fruity, dry-ish, not much depth. It's ok.

Wow! Another wine devoid of character, flavor and personality. ☹️ @nakedwines

Drunk this with lamb and roast veg.It is dry and very fruity. Not my favourite, but we enjoyed it.
