Cortona Syrah

Very understated nose with blackberry, a bit of roast, leather & a touch of black pepper.
On the palate this is very, very elegant - much more Pinot like that a burly Syrah.
Very fine polished tannins, great depth, beautiful purity of fruit. So juicy, elegant & complex. Quite serious and yet so drinkable. A true beauty.

Understated but authentic aroma, elegant texture, but the structure does not have the complexities of Northern Rhone’s.

Some north savory and south fruity. Slightly natty and a tonic with gnocchi.
