Light straw yellow, with stone fruit and citrus aromas with toasty notes. On the palate melon, apple and pear, crisp with notes of toasty oak. Medium finish, wet stone and minerality, well balanced, nice lingering finish, stays crisp on ending.

I was looking for something to pair with a binge on the new season of Better Call Saul. For scenes of Albuquerque and Santa Fe I needed something simple yet classic, but not tired. The New Mexico sun had me thinking white. Something from the "what's old is new" category seemed appropriate as well. And if Jimmy isn't Chardonnay...

Some new oak, but no malo. Lemon custard, caramelized apple, and orange blossom. Parker calls it "premier cru Chablis-like" and I wouldn't disagree. A balanced, and even bipolar, round and racy character. This fit the bill perfectly.

This is a nice classic Napa Chardonnay. Oaky, buttery, smooth finish. Beautiful light golden color but with good body. I get some floral and pear notes. Not complex in flavor but yummy!

Light bodied, notes of citrus and Apple. I didn’t get any oak. Refreshing and goes down easy. Not what I look for in a Chardonnay.

Wonderful white fruit, lime, clean and medium bodied. Not super floral but very fresh and clean like white linen. No detection of oak which makes for a delicate, refined Chardonnay. Love it.
