Opens up quickly to opulent fruit and mellow tannins. Very delicious. James Suckling 93 pts.

Getting ready to add sauce and cheese while sipping on this very delicious Petite Sirah. I love this wine! One of my favorites! Dark purple in color, slightly tannic but full of dark fruit and very silky smooth. Nice way to end the weekend. Cheers!

A new favorite! Nice dark purple in color, a little oaky at first but very full of dark fruit. Absolutely delicious! Well deserved after a busy weekend!

Fireside with Daniel on a dark and cloudy day, enjoying this full-bodied petite Syrah, bold and fruity with just enough bite.

This bottle maybe be crying one solitary tear, but I cheer for depth of berry body and the complex velvet mouthfeel. Tip tip, hooray!

Many of these Stags Leap PS's take some time to come around, but this one is soft with the tannins pretty much resolved. Probably would have been better a few years ago actually.

Still kicking for a '97! Tannins still there, fruit even still there for the time being. It's pretty rad! That good old molasses age flavor, plum & somewhat anise...light on it's feet to start then kicks your ass with those tannins that make you feel like your licking a dry towel & sticking to your enamel like petit Sirah.
