When you have a friend committed to red wine on a hot Friday afternoon, this Stag’s Leap certainly is a good choice. Richer-style #napavalley #merlot, vanilla, bramble berry jam, mushrooms and sandalwood nose, good acidity to balance it out but perhaps drank too warm - it would have been sublime 15 minutes in the glass after pouring from the wine fridge.
