I’m not a Napa Cab lover but the 2016 Staglin Estate has layers upon layers of rich dark fruit, cassis, chocolate, vanilla and sweet tobacco. The wine has a richness that is so well framed by fruit, oak, acidity which leaves the palate in an elegant fashion as the layers continue to unfold. Spectacular experience. Hope to try some old vintages one day.
