Nice Sonoma Cabernet for the price! Love the black pepper in the finish. Nice fruit, boysenberry, cranberry, slight oak

Blackberry and a touch of caramel oak. Decent value but the Claret is an order of magnitude better.

Jan 8th, 2016The 2010 vintage is now developed, yet balanced in flavor with supple tannins. It's a medium-bodied cab with shorter to medium finish. A simple great tasting Cabernet that is sure to satisfy all personalities.

Jul 29th, 2015Picked this one up at Vons, mainly because it's a five year bottle. The first winemaker of St. Francis, Joe Martin, planted the first Merlot grapes in the Sonoma Valley in 1971. ~$16 (on sale) | #cabernetsauvignon #stfrancis #sonoma
On the eyes: Deep Garnet, Opaque and Muted, Heavy Stain, Long Tears, No Gas/Particulates Present.
On the nose: Med Alcohol, Black Cherry, Currents with hints of Pepper, Violet and Tobacco.
On the tongue: Med+ Acid, Med+ Alcohol, Med Soft Tannins, Jammy Black Cherry and other Black Fruit. Herbaceous Violet with hints of Smoke and Pressed Meats. Med- Structure, Med- Complexity.
