Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc
It's very nice. Super gooseberry aromas.

Always a fan of the clean, refreshing Sauvignon Blancs of Marlborough. I believe this label is part of the Matua family. Green apple and kiwi, with plenty of citrus and bright acidity - reminded me at times of Welch's white grape juice, too, but in a good way. Goes down very easily, and more complex than the Matua. Not sure it's quite worth the added price to pick it over the Matua on a regular basis, but If you're looking for an easy sipper with a bit more dimension, this is a good choice.

Feb 18th, 2015Fantastic with seafood (we had with lobster). Also decent on its own but the buttery seafood really brought out new flavors in the wine.
