1998 vintage. Tasted after being open for 30 minutes. Not decanted. Wasn’t the best vintage for valley floor juice but hillside/mountain derived stuff showed decently then. This showed as expected but better than most would have surmised. 07.15.25.

Jul 15th, 2025Beautiful right out of the bottle! Excited to get to experience it open up! 91% Cab Sauv, 8% Merlot, and 1% Cab Franc. Lovely blend, so enjoyable aged famed Napa house!

Cork needed some special care. Wine was blackberry notes and leather. Complexity just shy of what I really like. Beautiful wine for sipping with robust apps.
