Nose is has a beautiful mixture of ripe peach and apple, along with crushed slate dripping with mountain stream water. It smells like it would be very fruity and Kabinett-like in the mouth, but instead the palate is lean and very much on the mineral side, though some fruit is there. It’s got nice, buoyant acidity, and a mouthful-of-slate shards finish. Very much a split-personality wine.

Terrific nose. Spice, green apple, floral, slate and very fine aromas. Juicy and lean. Love 2014. Pure fruit. Pithy and just ripe. Love the tension. Terrific energy and freshness. Lovely acidity. Long finish with pithy fruit. Very elegant and complex. Terrific wine.

Mar 26th, 2020Stunning. Nose has a hint of maturity. Petrol, dry leaves, lemon, apple skin, herbal, insanely complex. Palate has so many minerals. Concentrated, bitter fruits, so mineral. High acid and lovely structure to burn.

Golden almost yellow. Has great depth of flavor- more fruity than I expected. Great acids, got that diesel thing goin on,; thanks to my brother. Had it with grilled shrimp. Outstanding
