La Côte Blanche Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc
Lemon, lemon peel, yuzu and chalk on the nose. The palate is very acid driven, with a nice lemon and yuzu note all along, a good with with that chalky, powdery mouthfeel and a good width in mid palate. Quite a long finish with the same yuzu and lemon notes, with a nice, subtle bitter note in the end. Not the best Sancerre I've had but a good effort nonetheless

May 22nd, 2021Lots of clean and refreshing mineral notes, lemon, white peach, nectarine, and hints of underripe green pear. Present but not overbearing acidity. Clean and refreshing. Delicate and just fine to enjoy on it’s own. Doesn’t quite have the heft to take the place of an American or NZ sauv blanc, but in my opinion that’s the little magic of this one.

Nov 6th, 2014It's a smooth wine but the flavor is very sharp. Hits the back of your mouth hard. It's not standing up well to our spicy Thai salad, but on it's own it's a tasty dry wine. If you're spending $20+ you could do worse than to pick this up.
