Am I missing something? It’s a good wine, but at the price it should be better. Maybe I’m just grumpy tonight. Tasted the 2016.

Absolutely gorgeous cabernet. Loads of aromas come out of the glass. Blackberry compote, tobacco, and some soil. Seamless and suave. Mouthfeel is silky. Lack of tannins make more worried of longevity. Good for early drinking.

1hr+ decant. Dark red color. Nose had bright cherries and subtle licorice. Wine seemed tight and lacked character. Nice texture, but pretty average overall.

Dec 9th, 2023PnP. Dark red color. Nose is dominated by dark cherries and has some Pinot tones. Wine is refined with integrated oak, earth, and very fruit forward. Big tannins that settle over time. Medium depth. I really enjoyed it!
