A sample pulled off the bottling line recently.
The tannins are a little pronounced but the baby fat is doing a good job of covering them for now.
I do hope the fruit will continue to fill out because otherwise I think this could turn a little rustic.

14.5% alc., 50 cases produced.

First vintage under the direction of Denis Malbec who tragically passed away a few weeks ago.

I'll be very interested in tasting their 2014/15 and think this is a winery to keep on the radar.....

Drank really well, whatever that means... super smooth. Dare I say velvety, fruit forward, what you’d hope for from a self proclaimed higher end Napa wine. Everyone really enjoyed it. ⚡️
