Reserve St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon

New vintage of the Sinegal Estate's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark and deep purplish red. Love the complexity of this nose, layers of dark cocoa, pepper, cassis and cigars. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Tight and gritty texture that needs a few years to develop. A little smoky with black cherries, vanilla, cinnamon and tobacco. Long and lingering finish. Drink from 2019 till 2033. (94+)

Dark and deep purplish ruby red. Complex and layered nose with tons of black tea, not earl grey. Lots of blackberries and plums as well as smoked wood and leather. Insanely long and high intensity, it just would not let up. Thick, plush and voluptuous palate. Just what you would expect from a wine of this caliber. Tons of thick creamy dark cocoa and blackberries, even more black fruit. Heavy tannins (8/10) and full bodied. This needs a bit more bottle age to get a bit more rounded but stunning right now. Super long finish. Absolutely delicious. Drink till 2036.

Big dark fruit, perfectly ripe. Great matching minerality, this structure is spot on. Very very well balanced. A great bottle of wine that drinks great now with an hour decant.
