Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa. Still very young, but already enjoyable even by itself.

Fruit forward and dry on the palate, with medium acidity and nice complexity. Rich and extracted.

Long finish with round tannins.

Good right out of the bottle, and better after a few hours in the decanter.

Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years.

Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine. Would pair beautifully with a nice piece of steak.

A blend of 84% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec, 3% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. Aged for 20 months in (85% new) French Oak barrels.

One of our favorite Napa cabs at this price. Excellent and so consistent in terms of quality and style.

This surprised me in a good way! The bottle became better as it opened.

The fiercest Sinegal I’ve had to-date. 2019. Don’t even think about giving this less than a 2 hour decant. Will age nicely for a wicked long time.

Rich upfront with dark fruit, some sweetness, mild acidity, dry but intense. Very young to drink now but still delicious.

Ripe dark and red fruit forward. Tannins really softened at this point, fruit is a bit overpowering. I really liked this wine a lot 5 years ago, now it’s a bit predictable, big fruit forward and I don’t get much else. Wondering what the Reserve would be like now.

Wow! Rich, smooth cab with layers of flavor. Deep, balanced fruit flavors with hint of chocolate on finish. Just spectacular!

Gonna let it breathe a bit, but initially it’s got a big red fruited nose. Plum and red fruit, tannins softened up for a nice mouthfeel but it’s quite acidic. So the finish is more acidic. We’ll see if it changes with some air time.
