Syrah
A very easy drinking, medium bodied, clean and balanced el dorado, Sierra foothills syrah. In its cleanliness it looses some typical syrah personality. But you could drink this all day long with Memorial Day burgers (I’m sure that’s what they are doing on the label)!

May 24th, 2020Fresh and surprisingly vibrant for a foothills Syrah. Hardly any oak influence.

Oct 9th, 2018Bit of cranberry and under-ripe strawberry on the nose. Hint of rocks in the rain. Flavors are juicy and crisp. Very southern Rhône styled. Minerality and red pepper. Blood orange. Acids and tannins come together for a harmonious balance. Not a classic mushroom and berry Syrah, but very nice drinking foothill red.
