Ribeira Sacra Mencía

Uber natural melange of dark cherries vegetables and flowers. Ever changing and walks a tightrope between delicious and disgusting. Wish I tried it right after opening otherwise I wouldn't paint it with the "interesting" brush

2015. Ripeness, concentration, and balance, with aromas of juicy wild forest berries, sweet cherries, wanton flowers, smoked tea, and loamy earth.

Cherries with plenty of acidity. I have had different vintages. Solid as usual.

Interesting, likely a blend of a few grapes here as the stewed fruit flavour is pretty complex. Deep blackcurrant and plum flavours with a slightly looser unripe morello tint. Nose is more oak, and it will take time to soften and settle in to a gentle but concentrated structure. Very very herbal. Rosemary. Could be a touch underrripe as a result of an eagerness to keep acid structure?

Fun, funky, a little moused on day 2 - and not much varietally.

Нос- клюквенный морс и что-то такое компотное с травками, немного ботвы с чем-то резко-рассольным, но совсем немного. В развитии вплоть до шампуня "зайка".
На вкус весьма безтанинное, но и кислотность не велика, этакий кислый морс.

Drink fast, because after few hours taste like vinegar.

Стройно, строго. Дым, виноград, ежевика
Легко, воздушно. Класс!
при этом судя по другим рецензиям вино отличается от бутылки к бутылке.
