Nose of black pepper, smoke, violet, bramble berries, and iron.
On the palate: ripe strawberry, black pepper, sour cherry. Med acidity and med tannin.
Very tasty, especially considering the price. Had a bit of a southern Rhône thing going on with the red fruit and spice. Not super complex, but well balanced and an excellent value; would buy again.
