DIY Tasting. So bright borderline astringent on the nose. Immediate to tomato + reduction which combined with very pale ruby led to thinking this could be corvina/sangiovese. Cherry, strawberry, cranberry, herbal, chocolate. High acid and a bitter tannic quality like almond skin. Lil funk. Low body but high intensity/complexity.

Very earthy on the nose, light on the palate with tart and rich blackberry fruit and acidity initially, then the earthy and herby notes come in for a long finish. Love me some German pinot!!!
