DIY Tasting. So bright borderline astringent on the nose. Immediate to tomato + reduction which combined with very pale ruby led to thinking this could be corvina/sangiovese. Cherry, strawberry, cranberry, herbal, chocolate. High acid and a bitter tannic quality like almond skin. Lil funk. Low body but high intensity/complexity.

Very earthy on the nose, light on the palate with tart and rich blackberry fruit and acidity initially, then the earthy and herby notes come in for a long finish. Love me some German pinot!!!

Nice light wine and very different then the few other PN’s from Germany I have had. Cola and spice notes throughout.
Heirloom is a stand out real Farm to Table restaurant. All peas, asparagus and strawberries this time and will go back when tomatoes and corn are highlighted. Need to explore this restaurants wine list a bit more for their unusual offerings. Cold and rainy night or would have gone for one of their 14 Rose offerings.
