Smith haut lafitte called..... they want their wine back. Omg I thought this would be good with clams but it actually needs about a decade (or two) to shed its baby fat. Incredible wine... serious wine..:

A beautiful expression of Sauv Blanc, reminiscent of Sancerre. Flinty and flirty, with high velocity flavors or crushed stones, salt, frozen apples, and lime pith. A total pleasure to drink and a totally different side of the Russian River.

Would have guessed Puilly Fume. Really impressive for it's precision, purity and concentration. powerful. Citrus blossom, mineral, herb. Delicious. Decanted for 2 hours and still needs more time.

I made this wine with my husband Jeff Pisoni... And our goal is to make Sauvignon Blanc to age... So after two years in bottle the wine is holding his promise (citrusy, focus, great acidity and focus mineralogy all in)... Waiting to taste it in 10 years from now!
