A bit more focused and chiseled than the ‘15; also better balanced. Hot dust, grated spice, aged Balsamico. Tannins just short of grippy. Juicy, savory and superfine. Absolutely A-list stuff. #sestadisopra #sangiovesegrosso #montalcino

Nearly perfect in every way. Another candidate for house wine! Another K&L Win.

Missing a bit of complexity. Ok, but not noteworthy. Classic permanent marker on the nose.

Dark fruits, loads of spice and Tuscan earth. Love this wonderful Sangiovese. An incredible bargin! Fantastic Rosso!

Another absolute WA bargain at $27. Holding up very well, unlike some Chianti at this age. No great interest or complexity.
