This is a great wine when you want a wine with a bit more oomph than Pinot noir- it has Pinot’s high acidity and low tannins but more vibrant black fruit along with the red. Lots of strawberry, raspberry, juicy blackberry, cassis and a hint of baking spice. Dry, medium Ruby in color and vibrant on the palate. Great food wine, and does well with a slight chill.

Hyper perfumed nose of purple flowers, kirsch, plum, blueberry, Turkish delight and a bit of sage. Medium bodied in nature, effortlessly drinkable with a gentle chamois like tannin profile that provides some lovely pucker and adds a bit of substance.

2014 young, fresh and no time on oak for this Grenache. This would impress a lot of young palates.

Enjoyed this one, lighter, red fruit, smooth. Lots of precipitation, need to decant!
