Sardinian red knocks it out of the park. Tangy and juicy, but still very grounded

2010. Earthy aroma. Mineral taste, oakiness with persisting tannins. Acidic finish. I'm not likely to buy this again.

Balsamic and floral nose. Silky and flat mouthfeel. Plum and chocolate notes. Smooth tannins that are present but not brash.

Intriguing- whiff of Brett was endearing and not enough to be obnoxious, took some time to unwind but ultimately showing strawberry & cherry notes - liqueur like, spice, white pepper, earthy, soil, at times very impressive but also rustic as the wine opened the finish became less graceful. Medium weight at most, very dark ruby color but could have used more integrated acidity to knit this wine together. Paid $15 and would buy again @ that price point

From the cellar. Silky legs, nice body, beguiling stare...but what was her name again? American oak and dark fruit, nice but unmemorable. Agree with @Jim Wagonfeld

A Sardinian carignano with juicy dark cherry rounded out by smooth and subtle tannins. The old lady preferred this one to the Barbaresco.

Licorice, anise, and currants. Solid but those are not my favorite flavors

Nutty hard cheese and licoriceon the nose. Ripe cherry, boozy, plenty of acidity, dark dried fruit.
