High acidity and quite a lot of tannins, but well rounded. Black and blueberries with herbal notes. Excellent with food, quite good by itself. Needs to breathe a little. — 2 months ago
Fruity, light…delicious — 3 months ago
2022. We loved the 2019 Martha Stoumen Carignan we had this afternoon, so we wanted to try this D&G when we went looking for another bottle. A bit darker fruit flavor and earthier, and took ~15 minutes to open up. A little more tannic bite but paired equally well with leftover kebabs. — 3 months ago
Very pretty color of ruby with medium intensity and a wide reddish rim.
Pretty nose with nice complexity.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing red and black fruits with wood, light licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Nice finish with soft tannins and cherries.
This 6 year old Zinfandel based Red blend from Sonoma County is drinking at its peak, and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.
Elegant and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and soft with a nice mouthfeel. Showing nice complexity at this point.

Very very shy at first. Started light bodied but then unfurled in the glass. Blue and black fruit, tannins fine and fully integrated. Slight candied note. Not up there with Mogador but serious enough. Superb with the steak. — 2 months ago
Good! Mid weight red with some sweetness up front and a mellow, short end. Good for the price. — 2 months ago

2014 drunk in early 2025. This has finally hit its stride. Deep, leathery, savory qualities with rich dark fruit and a solid tannic grip. I’m pretty bummed that this was my last bottle. — 11 days ago
