Segura Viudas
Cava
Had this at a restaurant. Clean, straw yellow, tiny bubbles. Crisp stone fruit aromas, apple, pear and fresh peach flavors. Medium body finishes dry with an edge of crispness and minerality. Nice value even at restaurant price.

Surdyk's Staff Selection (Noelle Starr): The non-vintage Brut Reserve, made from indigenous Spanish grapes, undergoes second fermentation in the bottle, is aged for 15 months, and is a fantastic value β even at full price. Aromatic and elegant, there are notes of citrus, Asian pear, hints of flower and a touch of biscuit. The finish is dry and refreshing. Thoughts: start by using a regular wine glas, as a bigger bowl helps bring the aromatics front and center. Pair with anything salty (potato chips), creamy (brie smeared on a fresh baguette), or crunchy (fried chicken is especially good.) Pairs wonderfully with Blue Earth, a delicious brie-style cheese from Mankato, MN
Surdyks Spring 2015 Sale - $7.99 (compare at $11.99). Great with Sticky Chicken
