2000, wow! Brick in color and thhlw fruit tannins are super strong. Great acid, tobacco hint cedar and dried cherry. I need more cool year Merlot in my cellar!

My last bottle 😢. Heady, sweet, rich and smooth. Another 10+ years to go. Such a treat.

Enjoying our first dining experience at Lucca’’s Italian Restaurant in Sacramento, Double decanted Seavey 1999 Cab. Dark blackberry color. Nose has a stewed plumb essence and veggie spice aroma with hints of cinnamon and eucalyptus mint. Medium acidity plumb tobacco and leathery taste. Tannins are mild. An old Napa wine to drink now and enjoyment in itself.
