Our visit to Seavey was one of the best in terms of enjoying back vintage wines alongside current releases. Caravina is their “second” wine, but it shows very well. This ‘10 is drinking at its apex. Truffle, blackberry, leather, pepper and overripe red fruits.

Holy Cabernet, Batman! Second day open, this 2010 Seavey Vineyard Caravina Cabernet Sauvignon, Seavey Vineyard, is simply lovely, with a soft, round mouthfeel, lush, dark fruit, chocolate, and a spicy finish

2010 Caravina Cabernet. Had by the glass w K at Press. Very good, especially considering it was by the glass.
