H. Mynors Old Vine Cuvée Zinfandel

Easy drinking zinfandel, exceptional value and comes from a reputable producer. I would recommend this wine for fans of old vines. Enjoyable cuvée.

Smoky with re fruits. Medium body and not overly complex.

Ruby hue with high saturation. Aromas and flavors of earthy, espresso, oak, pepper, plum, sour cherry, and vanilla. Medium-plus body; firm, medium-plus tannins; and medium-plus acidity. A bold and complex nose with a smooth, dry, spicy, and lengthy finish. Blend of 88% Zinfandel and 12% Petite Sirah. Bonus points for QPR (bought for $7 at Grocery Outlet).

Fruit forward, easy drinking. Not my wife’s favorite but I enjoyed it.

Broad and fruity without any particular flavor. So-so table wine with a meh finish. Not crying about it for $8.99. But I’m not sure I’d get it again.

Red and black fruit. Slight leather. Easy drinking. Tannins medium and finish high

Lighter body for a zin, but flavorful, cherry character. Good legs. Good value.
