I asked Kyle to pull something to go with Coquilles Saint Jacques thinking he would select a Chard but this is what he grabbed 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. This is drinking perfectly right now. The nose was pretty muted and nothing was standing out so I was a bit worried but on the palate waves of cherry and cola hit you. There are decent tannins and a gripping acidity that worked well with the richness of the dish. This is my favorite Sea Smoke to date and drinking better than I remember. It's just that amazing. Happy 2017 all!

Beautiful nose of cherry cola and baking spices. Medium bodied with strong tannins. Powerful and intense with concentrated flavors of cherries, cola, tea and sweet spices with a smooth and lingering finish. Decanted for 5 hours and served alongside the '09 Ten and '12 Southing. This was everyone's favorite.
