Ok, this is complex. Because it’s a great wine but the acid is a bit strong. Great flavor, and classic Pinot notes of strawberry and cola, but the acid plays in a way that makes you wince at first. Great spice: cinnamon, tea, Indian. Finish is strong: smoke and earth and chocolate.

2012 Sea Smoke Ten after a 2007 Kistler Cuvée Elizabeth. It's a great Pinot noir night.

Much too young...would be curious to see how it develops, but all over the place coming out of the decanter for an hour. Not what you come to expect from an incredible producer of New World Pinot.
