Ink, wood chips, and plums on the nose. I never thought I'd describe a red wine as bone dry, but this is it. Ripe berries, plum, spice and a good showing of the cab franc against the cab sauv and merlot in this one. Probably a bit too much oak for this juice, but it paired well with pizza (what doesn't?). A solid choice.
