Tart cherry and pepper on the nose. Had a good earthy funk just after opening but that mellowed out after a few hours. Ripe and fruit forward, medium to medium plus. Really very good, and a good value at $22. I’ll definitely go back and get the last few bottles.

Very big and fruit forward on the palate, but it mellows with food. Slightly spicy mouth feel. There's something both earthy and savory in the finish. This will be in heavy rotation.

Good bottle of wine. Would be a good gift for dinner parties.

2011 vintage. Still feels a bit tight but great acidity and spice. Nice red fruit.

Despite all the Dijon clone hype it's very cherry cola rather than Burgundian on the first night. Second night it fills in and smooths out.

Smooth and oaky on the palate with an extended finish. The aromas were good: leather and vanilla. A good Pinot for relaxing in the autumn months.
