Schug Winery
Sonoma Coast Chardonnay
Sonoma Coast, Sonoma County, California, USA

Apple, citrus, grilled pineapple, minerality, med-minus acid and star fruit on the finish. Wish the acid was higher, but still a great food wine.

Zippy acid, nice and clean chard. Melon, Myers lemon, white tea, creamy niceness. Little VA going on, nail salon'ish - otherwise a fine product.

The Californian central coast isn’t as famous or glamorous as its southern counterparts, or as sought after as its rugged, northern neighbors...but as the late Dave Niehaus would say: “My oh my!” What incredible wines come out of this region. A nice, well balanced Chard that is exquisitely balanced with vanilla, citrus, stone/minerality and a clean, sharp finish...won’t overpower your palette making it an ideal companion to a meal, a snack or even a solo sipper.
