Probably every red fruit imaginable wafting off this wine, but really needed a solid hour to unwind. Dark ruby color, not quite opaque, but with great concentration if a bit fruit focused. Acidity wasn’t quite balanced in this wine, might be a phase or just slight unbalanced.

All fruit up front, unbalanced with strong alcoholic bite, a little rough at this tasting in Sept 2015. Bought this to braise a boar roast lol, but couldn't resist tasting. Not my favorite
