Inspiring. Beautiful. Accessible. Visionaries like Abe make me jump up and down. Roses, pink grapefruit, dried apricot, dried chamomile. Named Steverjan as a nod to orange wine greats like Josko Gravner and Radikon, as it is the town where they live and create. Whole cluster Pinot Gris with extended skin contact. Had it with grilled kale and homemade labneh, and I can't wait to have it with Indian food when I go back for a whole case.

This has all of the things I love about "orange" wines and none that I don't. No excessive VA, tannin, brett, or oxidation. Aromatically it is intriguing and ever-changing: guava, hibiscus, rose water only begin a very long list. A rare skin fermented wine that shows the talent of the winemaker in conjunction with the greatness of the site. Super cool wine.

Orange wine, whoop de whoop! Tart but wonderful nose, masculine for a "white" wine, great fruit presence on the front but finishes a bit flat.

"Ramato" style Pinot Gris made like Northern Italian orange wines.

From Coravin - Wow. Super different and exciting. I may be falling in love with orange wine. I will be seeking out more orange wine. I now wish more wineries gave their whites more skin contact.

Bottle said it was a white wine, not a rose, so I was a bit surprised when I pour the first glass. Pleasant enough with a lot of bruised fruit flavor.
