Eierfels Riesling

Really good. Very focused with plenty of fleshy fruit but also a saline component that gives it a savoriness that makes it irresistable.

2015 - I dig.

Lime and wet stones. I got jackfruit, Ally claims pears. Nice flinty saltiness. Great with spicy masaman curry from Chao Baan.

Pineapple

Apples & white peaches with lemon peel and pink grapefruit plus some herby naphthalene. Elegant and quite complex with good quality of fruit and great precision. Mid weight with a mineral touch towards the end. A fine wine.
Spontaneous fermentation in lege, used wood.

Good. Balanced. Mellowed than I remember. Should have waited a couple more years to drink. Try again in 2018
