The white wine of the evening for me. So refined and elegant. Caroline really nailed the fruit ripeness here - just at the cusp of exoticism with a focus on ripe stone fruits (apricots and peaches) while still maintaining an ample amount of juicy citrus fruits (mandarin and grapefruit). On the nose, the fruits mentioned, chalk, fresh herbs, and with air, pepper and cream; while on the palate, it was intense, crystalline, linear, long, grippy, and super saline. Not as flashy as the 17’ Felseneck, but I just love how animating and playful this wine was. Deep yet so drinkable!

Crazy extract and mineral. Seeming more quite than a couple year ago but came out of its semi shut down with a couple hours of air.

2006 vintage. Found in some random LI wine store. Very exceptional, lengthy. Needs some air but when it breathes, it exhales life and purity.

(16.5/20) Насыщенный аромат айвы, белого персика, лайма, ананаса, цветов и карамели. Среднее тело, относительно высокая кислотность. Во вкусе ароматное белое яблоко, айва, белый персик, травянистая горчинка. Долгое послевкусие.
